A few words about Marina Castagnetti
She used to be a coordinator of archives and professional development training at the Documentation and Educational Research Centre of the Istituzione Scuole e Nidi d’Infanzia - Municipality of Reggio Emilia from 2000-2016 at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre in Reggio Emilia.
Marina has worked on several projects that are part of “The Hundred Languages of Children” exhibition.
She was the author with Loris Malaguzzi and Vea Vecchi in the ''Shoe and meter''; and ''A journey into the rights of children.''; projects and books of Diana School, ed.Reggio Children, Reggio Emilia.
Many photos documentation she made, have been used in different books about
the Reggio Emilia approach.
She has been collaborating with Reggio Children during study groups in Reggio and other initiatives in the city.
She has been participating in many conferences, seminars and educational projects in Italy and abroad. (Austria, Brazil, Bosnia Herzegovina, China, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, India, Israel, Japan, Kosovo, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Russia, South Africa, Korea (South), Spain, Sweden, UAE, UK, Vietnam, USA).
She currently follows training and consultancy projects in the international area of Reggio Children at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre in Reggio Emilia.
She oversaw the openings and is part of the project groups, the preschool and primary school of the Italian Embassy in Beijing, China (2015) and the Little Em's preschool in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (2019).
Marina was also part of research projects about:
